Original Toronto Star caption: A party for the last group of seven artist. surviving member of the famed Group of Seven Y. Jackson, celebrated 89th birthday yesterday. venerable artist cut his cake are staff members of the McMichael Conservation Collection of Art at Kleinburg, near Toronto. Staff presented him with cake and a pallet with their signatures. Jackson lives at the gallery and pains nearly every day with the Albion Hills as his background. He accpeted an offer to move in as artist-in-residence a few years ago and works in light-filled studio above galleries which house his work. [Incomplete]
