In the foreground, cement blocks and steel rods form a pile of construction rubble. Beyond the rubble, stands five storeys of a gutted brick building with worn white paint in a state of demolition. In the distance, clusters of high-rises are visible above the tree line.

Notes
Original Toronto Star caption: Going, going . . . The Bayview Ghost is a mere shadow of its former self, as the rubble in the foreground indicates. All but one wing of the East York eyesore has been demolished by a wrecking company and even that should be levelled to the ground by tonight.
