Original Toronto Star caption: The Ghost of Bayview, the vacant apartment-building shell overlooking the Bayview Ave. Extension in East York, must be repaired or demolished, with work beginning within 30 days, the East York Council ruled last night. Acting Mayor Alan Redway holds some of the bricks that have fallen from the seven-storey building since it was abandoned in 1959. He called the shell "an enormous disgrace".
