Original Toronto Star caption: Icebreaker Griffon Crunches its way through 3-foot-thick ice on Nottawasaga Bay off Collingwood. On stern is the landing platform for the observer-helicoptor. Griffon's bright red hull is a harbinger of spring for communities along Lakes Huron and Erie and Georgian Bay as it arrives to break open harbors. But spring ritual be a thing of the past as Canadian and U.S. governments seek solution to year-round shipping. [Incomplete]
