Original Toronto Star caption: The mild days don't please everyone. The unusually mild weather this winter has kept Lake Simcoe free of ice; causing concern among those who make money renting huts to ice fishermen. Richard Gilder; who operates the Riverside Grill near Beaverton; rents boats; sells live bait - and has 10 fishing huts for rent; all of them now on shore; unused. He ways this is the latest he's seen the lake open in the six years he's been renting the huts.
