NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: It's fishing season - even if fish don't know it. Fishermen wade in the water; squat; stand or recline in lawn chairs beneath a bridge across the Credit River; just south of Streetsville; as they try their luck for trout. The water was cold; the air was brisk; to say the least; and the trout were generally unresponsive to their lures. A few suckers were taken; but catches of other fish were rare; although river has been restocked. With warmer weather on way; there'll be more fishermen; and maybemore fish.
