Lot 10, Con. 3 East. Don Mills Rd. South of Eglinton 3rd Con. from the Bay. This house was built by Abraham Taylor about 1849 on the west side of Don Mills Road, below Eglinton. Thomas Meagher, a surveyor from Tipperary, Ireland, later bought the house. His son, Michael, lived in the house after he married. Grenoble School stands today on the site of Thomas Meagher's barn. Demolished approximately 1965. The Ontario Science Centre is now on this site.
