Original Toronto Star caption: Heydon Villa sold. Above is shown a photograph of Heydon Villa, the home of the late Col. George Taylor Denison, Toronto's famous police magistrate, which together with 4.7 acres of the Denison estate surrounding it has been sold to a Toronto syndicate for sub-division purposes for $75,000 through the agency of the real estate department of the Toronto General Trusts Corporation, 253 Bay street. [Incomplete]

Published in the Toronto Daily Star, 20 March 1926, page 2, with article, "Late Col. Denison's estate is sold for subdvision; historic acres on Dovercourt, Rusholme and College Street go into hands of syndicate--Heydon Villa passes".

Heydon Villa was built by George Taylor Denison III in 1864. It was demolished in April 1926.
