Patrol officer Brian Kennedy with the Toronto Harbor Police uses long winter hours to give finishing touches to one of 300 life rings used along the waterfront from the Humber River to Victoria Park. Winter work also includes sanding; repainting and repairing broken ribs on 40 life boats used by police in rescue operations.
