Notebook on "The dealings of Captain Sharkey and other tales of pirates", including historical notes, dialogue, names of pirates and their ships, naval terms, etc., and a two page pencil draft of a Sharkey story. Text only on first nine leaves of notebook and on five loose sheets. Three stapled sheets contain printed poem titled "An old pirate song".
