NotesCommerative Toronto semi-centennial coin 1884. One side of the coin features the Crystal Palace at the Canadian National Exhibtion (known as the Toronto Industrial Exhibition at the time). This was the second version of the Crystal Palace building that stood from 1879-1906 (destroyed by fire in 1906). The other side of the coin features the Gooderham & Worts windmill building at the Distillery District which stood from 1832-1859 |
