The church stood on the corner of Wright Avenue and Roncesvalles Avenue from about 1909 to 1927. It became Erskine United Church in about 1926. The Presbyterian church was destroyed by fire in 1927. A new United church was built on the site in 1928. It was called Emmanuel United Church after about 1961.
Godfrey boarded at 186 Fern Avenue from about 1925 to about 1929; this view may be from his window there. Inscribed l.l.: W.F.G. Godfrey; Inscribed on vso: corner Wright & Roncesvalles Aves/Presbyterian/Church burnt/down/was destroyed by/fire. 1928/new United Church/here now.
