Original Toronto Star caption: A Brand new carriage made this year for Puss 'n Boots is tested by Bob Wormald; one of the workers at the jolly fat man's Metro headquarters in Etobicoke. The carriage will be among 30 floats that will be accompanied by 14 bands and about 1;000 costumed marchers along the route from Dovercourt Rd. and Dupont St.; along Davenport Rd. to Yonge St. and down to Queen St. on Nov. 18. It's expected that more than 500;000 will watch.
