Original Toronto Star caption: British destroyer welcomed as it delivers anchor for Ajax; The British destroyer; HMS Fife; arrived in Toronto harbor yesterday hauling a 1 1/2-tonne gift for the Royal Canadian Legion branch in the town of Ajax - an anchor! The heavy hook came from HMS Ajax; a Leander-class destroyer that was retired two years ago by the Royal Navy.
