The celebrated fairy tales of Mother Bunch : now republished with appropriate engravings, for the amusement of those little masters and misses, who, by duty to thier [sic] parents, and obedience to their superiors, are likely to become great lords and ladies. At head of frontispiece: Mother Bunch's tales. Frontispiece of Part I is dated August 25, 1817; that of Part II is dated Sepr. 20, 1817. Illustrations are hand-coloured. Running and caption title: Mother Bunch's fairy tales. Tales 1-7 are based on contes by Madame d'Aulnoy; tales 8-11 are based on: Les chevaliers errans / Madame d'Auneuil; tale 12 (The story of Little George) is an allegory attributable to neither writer. The typographical error ''thier'' is corrected on the second title page. Two parts in one volume with separate title-pages.
