NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: 1861 House Moved out of Industry's way. The fieldstone house James Weir built in 1861 was moved 350 feet closer to Tapscott Rd. yesterday to make room for the development of industries planned by Runnymede Development Corp. Stan Smith of Stanwalt House Movers signalled directions to his men moving the house off its foundations in the dense fog. One of the guests of honor was 86-year-old Clark Secor; a grandson of builder James Weir.
