These Metro outlets-Flash; Regent and Econo-are owned respectively by Gulf Oil; Texaco and Imperial Oil. Shell owns Windsor locations of Beaver; which is not represented in the Toronto market. The oil majors still stress service in their operating policies; but at least one of them; Imperial; notes a rapid growth in recent years of gasoline buyers who shop on price alone. And Imperial says it expects this segment of the market will grow. Above; Ron Lyttle is at the Flash pumps; Efraim Yarkoni at Regent; and Bernard Boulter pours for Econo.
