Original Toronto Star caption: Markham fair a record-breaker. A record crowd of nearly 100;000 attended 120th annual Marikham Fair which ended yesterday. Ivan Norton; fair board president; said attendance at four-day event was up almost 15;000 over previous high last year. Among main attractions were midway; greyhound racing (below); cattle horse and produce judging. Nancy Wolfe (right) of Unionville; and Beverley Carson of Richmond Hill took part in log-sawing contest.
