Original Toronto Star caption: What's this? a Nazi flag in Montreal?. Well, the flag is flying in Montreal--in Man and His World's Place des Nations in fact--but it's the flag of the Scindia Line of India. The flags of the various shipping lines using the St. Lawrence Seaway replaced national flags in the Place yesterday as notables gathered to mark the 10th anniversary of the Seaway. Embarrassed officials explained that the Swastika is just an ancient good luck symbol. Hitler adopted it for his Nazis in the 1930s. Swastika is banned in Germany.
