Original Toronto Star caption: First of its kind in Ontario; the $1.2 million education centre at Kortright Conservation Area is behind schedule because of the electricians' strike. Supervisor Ken Strasser; standing before the new structure; said work had been set back at least two months. It is not expected to be ready for even part-time use until spring. The centre will contain a theatre; laboratory; and displays of wildlife; ecology; forestry and energy themes. The authority will continue other fall programs.
