Grenadier Pond in High Park is free of ice; thanks to the unusually mild winter-and that's just as well: The surface is crowded with free-loading ducks. Eight-year-old Wade Kirkpatrick was feeding them yesterday and there were a lot of greedy mouths - or bills. The ducks may not be as comfortable tomorrow: Snow is expected to start in southwest Ontario by this evening and to spread eastward quickly.
