Original Toronto Star caption: All esther shiner wants for christmas . . . A Santa Claus billboard sending Season's Greetings to Bill Davis; at Dufferin St. and Orfus Rd.; north of Lawrence Ave.; is meant to be a sign of goodwill; according to Esther Shiner; a North York alderman and head of the Go-Spadina committee. But it's also to show Premier Davis; that; contrary to what he might think; Spadina's not dead. The billboard cost the group about $200-but if he gets the message it's worth every penny; Mrs. Shiner says with a grin.
