Original Toronto Star caption: Gutted. Fifteen fire engines and their crews fought a morning blaze yesterday that left the 80-year-old Lansdowne Tavern in Toronto's west end a write-off. No one was injured in the $750;000 fire. One of the building's walls collapsed; bringing down hydro lines and cutting off power in the area. A witness said landmark went up like a torch. Fire Marshall s office is investigating.
