Original Toronto Star caption: Burned-out ruins of four Bloor subways cars are examined by firefighters at Christie subway station. A $2.5 million fire early today left the aluminum-hulled cars melted and twisted. Subway travel for thousands of people will be disrupted until early next week. About 70 shuttle buses wee pressed into service in rush-hour.
