''The first volume of the 'Gazetteer, ' (containing 160 pages) is confined exclusively to the statistical and general information of the county of Oxford as a whole, and this volume to each township and village therein separately ... The second volume, being within itself a complete gazetteer, we have had a few hundred additional copies thereof printed separate, in order to furnish a cheaper edition than the two volumes bound together.''--''To the reader, '' verso of t.-p.
