NotesA Spanish voyage to Vancouver and the north-west coast of America; being the narrative of the voyage made in the year 1792 by the schooners Sutil and Mexicana to explore the strait of Fuca. Title varies. By some bibliographers the author is wrongly supposed to be Dionisio Alcal? Galiano, commander of the expedition; Medina and Leclerc ascribe the historical introduction to Alcal? Galiano, commander of the Sutil, and Cayetano Vald?s, commander of the Mexicana. Navarrete (Bibl. mar. esp., t. 2, p. 65) states that Espinosa wrote the ''Relaci?n'' and that he himself wrote the introduction. A translation of the original Spanish edition, Madrid, 1802.
