      Organizer, behind Vishnu Mandir, the Hindu temple in Richmond Hill, is Hamilton surgeon Dr. Budhendra Doobay, who conducts services each Sunday and helps serve lunch later to 500 members of the congregration.

      He wants money: Dr. Mario Piacenza of the southern Italian town of Altomonte is in Toronto lookin for funds to build a school for peasant children. He's hoping to get it from the parents of the children he's leading here - natives of Alomonte who left their home town for North America. So far, he's visited 7 cities on a 3-month North American tour but has raised only $2,000 of the $20,000 he needs. He's had a picnic with Altomonteans here and plans another one.
