      One of Santa's helpers, Rich Cairns, president of Coutts Hallmark Cards Ltd. shows off some of the more expensive cards that are selling well this year - sor far. He is standing in front of Coutts Hallmark store on Yonge St., opposite Eaton Centre. The $250 million a year industry is watching postal workers, fearfull of anther walkout similar to 1975, which also spolied 1976.

The newsletter is so well read that Cullen gets fan letters, thank-you notes and greeting cards. Ministers ask permissin to quote from the publication to illustrate a talk or sermon.       James D. Robinson III, chairman of New York based American Express Co., pictured at the Toronto Stock Exchange where his company's shares were listed for the first time yesterday. The firm is currently facing a challenge to its domination of the travellers' cheque market from Visa and Master Charge, whose credit cards dominate the international bank card scene. Master Charge hopes to be in the business by next May and Visa will make a decision shortly.
