Original Toronto Star caption: Ward 7 aldermen John Sewell (left) and Karl Jaffary, who easily won re-election, argue with police at City Hall who refused entry to their supporters. About 250 had accompanied them from their victory party, waving signs and shouting power to people. The two have worked as a team on major issues, taking on the pro-development faction of City Council. Sewell now plans an image change, getting away from his hippie style and emphasizing a working-class look.
