- Ottawa (UPC) - Governor-General Edward Schreyer has been admitted to hospital for tests prior to minor surgery later this week. Colonel B. W. Grace, Schreyer's personal surgeon, said the surgery is a follow-up treatment for an inflamed intestine operated on in February. Grace said the Governor-General was feeling well, in fact, he's going home for the evening.
