The stinging nettle. ''Printed by Wm. Tyler, 5, Bolt-court, London''--foot of upper wrapper. Copy 2: Variant: does not bear printer's imprint at foot of upper wrapper. Cover title. Number 42 in a series of numbered tracts. Undated. Printer William Tyler was in business at 5 Bolt Court between 1836 and 1842, see P.A.H. Brown London publishers and printers, p. 205. Inscription inside the cover of Little Martha, another title in the series, is dated July 13th, 1838. Probably published before 1838 when St. Paul's Churchyard started to appear as part of the RTS imprint, see P.A.H. Brown London publishers and printers p. 157.
