Original Toronto Star caption: Man and Space: This 34-foot concrete and brass pylon in front of the new East York Library is meant to show the relationship between man and some undiscovered galaxy, says its creator, Gerald Gladstone. While some citizens may belabor it as a ''monstrosity,'' library use has increased 108 percent since it was built.
