Original Toronto Star caption: Rudolf Nureyev and Veronica Tennant, What is sight they made, says critic William Littler of their performance in the National Ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty at the O'Keefe Centre last night. Nureyev circled the stage in gazelle leaps and Tennant hopped across it as if treading on feathers. They provided a case study in matched pas de deux with everything in symmetrical relationship.
