Original Toronto Star caption: The spadina expressway was the dominant issue at an all candidates meeting in York-Forest Hill riding last night. Concervatibe Barry Lowes (left) and Fiona Nelson of the New Democratic Party (right) opposed the completion of the expressway, while Liberal Phil Givens (centre) said completion of the road is the only way to ease congestion in side streets. It would also create 2,000 jobs, he said.
