Money, a 48-year-old aviation scientist from Willowdale, is a leading candidate to become this country's first man in space. And if he makes the grade, he could be riding the U.S. Space Shuttle as early as 1985, according to projections made this week by federal Science Minister Don Johnston. Nothing's certain, the soft-spoken Money told The Star. It's definitely a maybe thing. But a study of motion sickness in space proposed by Money and Montreal colleague Doug Watt stands a good chance of being picked for the Shuttle series and one or both of them would go along to perform the experiments.
