Original Toronto Star caption: Hang-glider pilot John Bremner of Mississauga soars from Etobicoke's Centennial Park hill. The 39-year-old father of two has logged about 300 flights since he took up the sport three years ago. His glider cost $800, weighs 80 pounds, and is made of Dacron, aluminum tubing and stainless-steel aircraft cable. It has a 33-foot wingspan. The glider is controlled by shifting body weight to change the centre of gravity.
