Original Toronto Star caption: An exhibition of 200 works by Andre Kertesz, long acknowledged as the father of modern photography, is on display until June 27 at the Canadian Centre of Photography. The retrospective, covrering 70 years of the 88-year-old photographer's life work, was assembled by Jane Corkin, who opened Toronto's first serious photography gallery three years ago.
