Perrin Johnston, 59, who received a new heart in a three-hour operation at St. Michael's Hospital on Nov. 17, 1968, was toasted by members of his family last night at an annual party held by the hospital. With Johnston, centre, are from left: his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Luce, his wife, Meg, and daughter Suzan and her husband Sig Gerber. More than 900 people attended party held in Four Seasons-Sheraton Hotel. Johnston has worked - full time since 1970.
