Original Toronto Star caption: Not me! -- My nose curves the other way'. Examing school mascot-a stuffed elephant named Alex-at the new $3,700,000 A. Y. Jackson Secondary School in North York, named in his honor, the famed 88-year-old Group of Seven artist tells students Terri Johnstone (left) and Heather Birbeck it couldn't have been named after him. Smiling at the mascot's trunk, he noted, My nose curves the other way. Officially opening the school on Willowdale's Francine Dr., he told the 625 students it was far different from the one on the other side of the tracks that he attended in Montreal.

      I just met a man who doesn't have a single complaint. Sik Kan Chung is 91. It took him 15 minutes to walk across the park to Woodgreen Community Centre from his place to meet me. Ten years ago it took him only 10 minutes. Another 10 years, maybe it will take half an hour, he said, laughing so hard his glasses slid down his nose. [Incomplete]
