Notes
Original Toronto Star caption: A fleet of anchormen: No, it's not a composite of pictures taken at CBC-TV National newscasts over the years, they really were all together last night. From left, they're Larry Henderson, first anchorman for the 11 p.m. National when it went on air 25 years ago; his first successor, the durable Earl Cameron; the outspoken Stanley Burke, who abandoned the enforced objectivity of the National to champion such causes as Biafra; Lloyd Robertson, who left the CBC last year to join the CTV network; and current anchorman Peter Kent. They were taping a TV news special to commemorate CBC-TV's 25th anniversary.
