Original Toronto Star caption: In High Park; the Queen learns how brooms were made in the 19th century in a demonstration of crafts arranged by representatives of Black Creek Pioneer Village. She told an aide she wanted one of the old-style brooms. The Queen had just released 99 small-mouth bass from a tank into Grenadier Pond to inaugurate conservation week in Ontario. The fish are tagged and can be exchanged for medallions.
