Original Toronto Star caption: Fredrik eaton, president of T. Eaton Co. Ltd., says an estimate by the Royal Commission on Corporate Concentration that the company had 1976 sales of $1.3 billion is in the area but he wouldn't discuss the commission's estimate of $39 million for 1976 profit. The privately owned, provincially-chartered company isn't required to divulge the figures. Other analysts don't think the figures are quite as high.
