Original Toronto Star caption: Crowds for Dief: Dief's funeral train made an unscheduled stop in Thunder Bay last night, drawing what was called the largest crowd since the troops went off to war as local residents poured onto the tracks to catch a glimpse of the casket carrying the former prime minister home to Saskatchewan. He was a great monarchist and so am I, said one woman.
