Original Toronto Star caption: The defender: Leading Toronto criminal lawyer Austin Cooper, half of the two-man team that represented Susan Nelles at the preliminary hearing, is mobbed for comment by media people outside the court yesterday. Cooper said the case was unlike any other murder case in Canada, involving baby killings with no motive. Throughout the hearing, Cooper contended that police had charged the wrong person.
