Original Toronto Star caption: Canadian film-maker Christopher Chapman, shown here in the split screen fashion he made famous with his film A Place to Stand, would rather stay at home in his mud-encircled bungalow near Markham than go to Hollywood on April 8 to see if the 18-minute film he made for the Ontario pavillion at Expo wins an Academy Award. So successful was A Place to Stand, the Ontario government has asked Chapman to make a film about Ontario for 1970 World's Fair in Japan.
