In the forest clothing is minimal, as illustrated by the Indian wife at right or the Bush Negro matron at left using straw tube to drain poison from a mealtime staple, cassava root. And, as Star staff writer George Bryant finds at left centre, travel by dugout canoe can involve enduring tropical storms.
