Notes
Original Toronto Star caption: A new set of stripes at the zoo. Metro Zoo's latest addition is this 5-day-old Damaraland zebra seen with its mother yesterday on its first day out. Mother is called Millie; the young female is still unnamed. The first zebra born this year at the zoo--in April--was a Grevey's zebra; named Blue Jay; of course; because it was born on the day of the opening game of Toronto Blue Jays; the American League's newest expansion baseball team.
