Original Toronto Star caption: Moving day at U of T. Right on track for its new home; Bancroft Hall is winched along on steel pipes to a location about 50 feet back from its site near Huron and Russell Sts; today. Part of the house was demolished and the section seen here will be attached to another building. Built in 1890; the house was bought by the university in 1957; in recent years it has been a psychiatric centre.
