A few months ago Metro roads department started installing more guard rails on the median strip of the parkway. Yesterday crews began changing the guard rails at bridge abutments. Formerly they were parallel to the abutment. Now they curve so cars can't get behind them; says Metro Roads Commissioner George Grant. They bounce off.
