Notes
Original Toronto Star caption: The 1970 metro Caravan was a happy success even after it ended: Teenagers enjoyed the rush of air from a sidewalk grating at Nathan Phillips Square--and entertained older people watching them--after the carnival finale; a grand ball in the old city hall and dancing and performances on the square in front of the new City Hall; which went on until nearly midnight. A 1971 Caravan is expected.
